DEAR JEEP OWNER

Dear Jeep Owner,
I know that you own a jeep, and are therefore infinitely cooler than I. I recognize that you can literally feel the wind in your hair, something which I, a mere pedestrian, can never do. I understand that since you own a jeep, you get laid a helluva lot more than the rest of us.

But please, please, please, don't flaunt it. Don't hang your legs out of the car while you're driving. That's dangerous. Don't blast your music too loudly, as if to say, "You can hear my music because my car doesn't have walls." Don't dance to said music, as if to say, "You can see me dancing because my car doesn't have walls!"

Forever (Jealously) Yours,
Nicole

FORCED

If this entry sounds forced, it's because it is.
I'm forcing myself to write.  I just... need to.  One of those things.  Maybe I'll reflect on FIFA.
I kind of resent FIFA, to be honest.  I'm not a huge soccer fan– not even a small soccer fan– so the soccer hype is kind of getting to me.  I'm a CBC Radio junkie, and CBC is all about the soccer right now.  I can't really stand it.  I want my CBC back!  Matt, Jian, Sook-Yin, please stop soccer-ing.  I'm getting tired of it.

Now I'll talk about... reading, I guess.  I'm somewhat ashamed of the terrible books that I read.  They're all (every single on of them) guilty pleasures.  Terrible books by terrible writers.  I would be ashamed to write the books that I read.  But I guess being a bad published writer is better than a good unpublished writer, right?

SECRETS

People have secrets, right? Like, everyone does. I don't think I do.
Well, I have one. When I was younger, I bullied bullies, and framed bullies for it. I did it from behind a computer screen. I was ahead of the curve, I think. Six years before cyber bullying came into style, I was doing it.
Just like how I got side bangs before everyone else.

A DECISION

Today, I made a decision. I decided it would be a good idea to create a blog.
I'm a writer– amateur, at the moment– and I figured that blogging would be a good way to get my writing into the world.
Even if nobody ever reads it. Because a lot of blogs go unread, don't they?

Maybe I'll never write here again. Actually, I probably won't. Ever.
But. Maybe I will. Maybe I'll get famous on here, get to talk to Jian Ghomeshi about being a teenage blogger. An ever so successful teenage blogger, thank you.
And maybe I'll stumble upon this, ten years from now and laugh at what a bad writer I was. But I digress.

My point: I am officially a Blogger.
